Lisa Iancin competed in the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league for 5 seasons, gathering a national championship in 2004 with the New York/New Jersey Juggernaut and in 2006 with the New England Riptide. In 2005, Iancin was named the NPF Defensive Player of the Year.
In college, Iancin earned a full scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley. Among her accolades as a Golden Bear are First Team All-Pac 10 and back-to-back appearances at the Women’s College World Series in 1999 and 2000. Internationally, Iancin played for Team Bussolengo, Italy in 2001.
In 2024, Iancin was the Assistant Coach of the American professional team, the New York Rise. She was the Assistant General Manager of the Tennessee Diamonds for the 2010 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season. Prior, Iancin was the Marketing/Instruction/Public Relations Coordinator of the Jennie Finch Softball Academy – Diamond Nation in Flemington, New Jersey. From 2006-2009, Iancin was the Assistant Softball Coach at the George Washington University in which she concurrently completed a Masters in Tourism Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management.
Lisa Iancin “Coach L.I.” has been the Owner-Operator and Head Instructor at LI Softball Academy, a traveling and online instructional resource for developing fastpitch softball players.
